About Hettie's Crafty Creations
Hettie's Crafty Creations is all about quality, hand made crafts, using felt, fabrics, natural materials and we love to make fun and attractive items to bring warmth and a little bit of joy into your home.

My name is Sarah and I am the founder and creative mind behind Hettie's Crafty Creations which was established in 2020 after I became unable to work a normal 9 - 5 job.
Setting up my own business has allowed me to work flexible hours, while doing a job I am passionate about.
I have been cross stitching for over 30 years, only making creations for friends & family. Due to customers requests, I have started making kits and cards.

Along with my husband, we started creating smaller projects and have been selling them on our facebook page and at craft fayres.
We currently run the business from home in our dedicated craft rooms. The business has been growing from strength to strength and we have been exhibiting at several prestigious events including Hampton Court Palace and Birmingham NEC.
Our range of products has evolved and we have added new lines and ranges including the Cross Stitch Kits and Sublimation range.

I remain the driving force behind Hettie's Crafty Creations and create most of the products which you will see on our facebook page, at our fayres and here online whilst my husband is a whizz with a sewing machine and is responsible for the patchwork blankets, printing, branding, sublimation and bag projects.

If there is something you would like to see on here or if you want to commission a bespoke piece inspired by something you have seen here, get in touch and we'll see what we can do for you.

Our Creative Processes.
We are all about creating beautiful products for you to enjoy and it is important to us to make sure that we source our products as ethically as possible.
Where ever possible, we support other local and small independant businesses, and most of our cabachons and resins are supplied by another independant local business.
Our "Jute and Polyester" Tote Bags, "Natural tote bags" and Jigsaws are all ethically sourced.
We are always looking for new alternative materals and suppliers to be as sustainable as possible.

We source all our materials from local UK suppliers whenever possible but some of our products do have elements which come from further afield.
Sublimation
Using high quality sublimation inks and substrates, we can print any design including very high quality photographs and graphics.

We use a 6 colour ink print process which ensures exceptional colour rendering, hiigh quality prints and makes your images and designs really stand out.

Using heat and a bit of scientific magic, we transfer that image into the actual fabric of the product.
By heating the ink, it tuns into a gas which then bonds with the molecules of the product, this creates a colour fast, waterproof, fade resistant and completey washing machine, dishwasher and wipe clean safe design which is imprinted into the object and will last as long as the product itself.
There is no additional texture to the product, it is completely smooth, can't be scraped, picked or peeled off.

All our blanks are specially designed to ensure that the design adheres to the medium and will last as long as the product.
Stickers, Vinyls and Decals
We design and create a range of printed vinyl stickers and can make personalised vinyls, monograms and names.
Using permanant vinyl, we can create car decals and stickers to decorate hard surfaces.
Vinyl Stickers
Using print and cut technology, all our stickers are printed on High Gloss Vinyl which offers great colour rendering and image quality.
Our stickers are water resistant, have a very strong adhesive and will give you great fun choosing where to stick and display them.
The stickers will not stand up to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and may fade and peel if used in an outdoor location.
Vinyls & Decals
Using our digital cutting process, we can create vinyl motifs, lettering and designs for a wide range of different applications.
Our permament vinyl is safe to be washed and should withstand general day to day use.
Please do not microwave or clean in a dishwasher, we cant gurantee that the vinyl will stay fixed. The use of harsh cleaning chemicals / abrasives will affect the longevity of the vinyls.
If used externally (vehicles etc...) you should avoid harsh chemicals and high power direct water jets.
Heat Transfer Vinyl
Using our digital cutting process, we can create vinyl motifs, lettering and designs which we can apply to a wide range of different fabrics, clothing and accessories.
Our HTV is safe to be machine washed and should withstand general day to day use.
Please do not tumble dry and iron on a low heat on the reverse (inside out) and protect with a teatowel.
The use of harsh cleaning chemicals / abrasives will affect the longevity of the vinyls.
